Near the Klaverpolder highway junction (A16/A17), we are developing Logistics Park Moerdijk (LPM) together with LPM Holding. The logistics park is developed sustainably and carefully integrated into the landscape. Construction will take place in phases until 2030.
The first sub-area, along the A17, is now ready for construction. We are working on the pre-loading of sub-area two, which is located along the Lapdijk. We are carrying out preparatory work in sub-area three, along the A16 as well. Freight loads of sand regularly travel from the port to the LPM. We use the sand for preloading the sub-areas. Besides that, we are also building future roads here.
Furthermore, the general access road for the area is increasingly taking shape. This road will soon connect the LPM with the A17 on one side and the A16 on the other. We recently laid the so-called concrete tires and started paving, so that the first contours of the road are now visible.
