Port of Moerdijk is a so-called seaport of national importance ans the second container port in the Netherlands. As a multimodal hub with a large industrial cluster it is part of our vital infrastructure. The Port Authority monitors the safety of Port of Moerdijk. Every day, we are passionately committed to providing excellent handling of all shipping traffic, and, together with other private and public parties, we oversee the safety and security of the port and industrial area.

Before a berth can be taken up, inland vessels must register with the Port authority of Port of Moerdijk. Via VHF channel 12 or telephone number +31 168 388 874.

  • At the public berths on the Roode Vaart, a container is available for domestic waste.
  • For commercial waste (such as bilge water, used oil, filters, used cleaning rags and waste grease), the following applies: …
  • For maintenance waste and small hazardous waste, such as leftover paint and batteries, the same applies as for commercial waste.

With written permission from the harbour master, painting and repair work on your vessel is permitted in the Port of Moerdijk.
