Brabant Ports is a new joint port authority with collective port management tasks for Brabant's inland ports. This concerns the inland ports of Bergen op Zoom, Oosterhout, Tilburg, Waalwijk, Den Bosch, Meierijstad, Oss and Land van Cuijk. Within Brabant Ports, while retaining the autonomy of the parties involved, we will work together on an integrated inland port company that supports the growth of freight transport over water.
It is expected that this cooperation will promote economic growth and employment. It also means that a faster flow of goods becomes possible, which means that more efficient inland water transport relieves the burden on the road network and further strengthens Brabant's position as a logistics hotspot.
